18 Months ago......

Exactly 18 months ago today I was laying in a hospital bed waiting to meet my newborn son for the first time. It seems like just yesterday that I was impatiently waiting for that sweet little bundle of joy to grace us with his presence. Time goes by so fast.....TOO fast. My little tiny baby boy isn't a baby anymore......he is more of a "Big Boy" now. Instead of just laying there cooing, he now climbs everything in site (I am just waiting for him to climb out of his crib), talks to anyone and anything (even though I have no clue what he is saying sometimes), runs around and does a great job of general destruction of anything in site. I miss the snuggly little baby but I am so excited about things to come. I love seeing him learn new things and say new words.....hearing him say "Mama Mama" melts my heart and brings a smile to my face. How someone so small could love me and his Papa so much.  I can't wait to make him a big brother and have that snuggly little baby again and give him a playmate.

I love you so very much Monkey Man!  I treasure every moment of every day with you and can't wait to watch you grow up! Sometimes it worries me thinking about what wild and crazy things that I am sure you are going to do......but you are the most amazing, loving, and sweet little boy. In fact you are my favorite little boy in the whole wide world! I Love you so very much! Happy 18 months old!
