CSN Preferred Blogger-Boon potty bench and JoJo designs changing pad cover

A few weeks ago I announced that I had another review up and coming from CSN stores. I absolutely love CSN.......they have wonderful customer service, a HUGE variety of products (they have over 200 stores to choose from), and have very quick shipping.  They even upgraded my shipping for free. I am not really sure why they upgraded it, but I got my package in two days instead of five.

It took me quite a while to figure out what to review....but we finally decided on the Boon potty bench and the JoJo Designs Blue and Brown Geo Changing Pad Cover
I have had my eye on the Boon Potty Bench for months! It has so many amazing additional features that other training potties don't have for just a little bit more money.  I think that a potty should be for one thing and one thing only....for going potty. I don't think that it should need to be able to talk and play noises/music or have all of those un-needed bells and whistles that many other potties have. I know for a fact that a singing potty would distract my son more than it would help him. Potty training is hard enough without the additional distractions. Besides there are already too many toys in my house that drive me crazy from all of the noise to have to listed to talking and music every time that my son uses the potty.

The Boon Potty bench has a short-sleek rectangular design that easily fits in tight spaces. We have a pretty small bathroom in our house downstairs and it fits right next to the sink.  It has a closeable compartment on each side of the potty for storage. You could use them for potty training materials, wipes, toilet paper.....or really anything that you need close by.  They are easily openable so that your kiddo can open them when they need some TP, but stays closed well enough to keep a two year old who likes to empty whole rolls of toilet paper all over the bathroom out of them.

Monkey is getting to the age where we are wanting to start getting him used to using a big boy potty. I don't think that we are actually going to start the full out potty training until after the baby is born just because I am afraid of regression. But so far we have gotten him acquainted with what it does and he knows that it is his potty.  Every morning he asks to go and sit on his potty right after he gets up and asks every now and then through the day. We have yet to have him actually pee in his potty but we are getting closer to him figuring out what he is supposed to do.
.One other amazing thing about the Boon Potty Bench is that when you don't need the potty part of it anymore it can be used as a step stool. It is no little pansy step stool either! It can hold up to 300 lbs, so even Daddy can stand on it and not have to worry about breaking it!

The Boon Potty Bench is a training potty featuring two enclosed side storage spaces for organizing potty training supplies, and a pull-out drawer for easy sanitary clean-up. Simply close the lid to use as a large, sturdy stool that supports up to 300 lbs. The sleek, modern design includes a built-in toilet paper holder and a removable soft deflector shield.

Features:
  • Organizes potty training supplies
  • Simplifies clean-up
  • Easily converts to a bench or step stool
  • Soft flexible deflector helps guard against injury

We also got to review the JoJo Designs Blue and Brown Geo Changing Pad Cover. We have been needing a changing pad cover for a while. They are so nice to have for cleaning up messes or leaky diapers easily. If anything gets on the changing pad while in use, all you have to do is pull off the cover and throw it in the washer. There have been many times that we have had a NASTY diaper overflow onto the changing pad while Monkey is laying on the changing pad. You have to worry about if you got it all cleaned up and also if anything soaked through and got inside of the changing pad. With a JoJo Designs changing pad cover you can put your worries behind you and enjoy the little extra decoration that it gives to the room.

The cover has elastic all of the way around it for a snug fit and stays on our changing pad very well. It fits all standard and contoured changing pads so you don't have to worry about ordering it and it not fitting right. They also carry matching accessories to go along with all of their changing pad covers for decorating your little ones nursery. They have- hampers, lampshades, window panels, sheets and wall decor. They are all machine washable for easy cleaning and made with 100% Cotton.

BUY ONE OF YOUR OWN!!!!  You can get the JoJo designs changing pad cover for $19.99 and the Boon Potty Bench for $34.00 both from CSN stores
