Stats and 24 month Check-up

Yesterday Monkey had his 24 month check-up. I still cant believe that he is actually 2 years old! Time sure does go by so amazingly fast. It seems like he was just a newborn.....and now he is two and we are going to have another little one in three months or so.
For the last few check-ups he has been holding solid around 30-31 lbs. This time he actually lost a whole pound so he is down to 29 lbs with a 19 1/2 inch head and is 34 inches tall (i think.....i forgot to write his height down)........is it bad that his head is almost as big around as he was long when he was born (he was 21 inches long when he was born)?? It just seems funny to me.
It is amazing to me how tall he has gotten. I see him walking around the house and have to take a second glance when I realize just how big he has gotten. He is not a baby anymore! It is both happy and sad when your kiddos get older. I am so happy because he is at such a fun age (well fun most of the time.)  He talks like a crazy man and learns new words daily, says two to three word (understandable) sentences, and has so much fun going to the zoo and park to play.....and he can actually play on everything. But then its so sad because he's growing up and getting older and changing so fast. I am so glad that I get to stay home with him so that I don't miss anything.
I always have to remember to enjoy it while I can because before I know it he will be moving out and going to college.....**tears**
