***Beco Gemini Baby Carrier-Review & GIVEAWAY***

When Monkey was first born I didn't have a clue about what baby wearing options were out there. We had bought a Snuggli baby carrier (because I didn't have a clue about all of the other options) that turned out to be extremely uncomfortable for me and Monkey just folded up into a ball in the bottom which was very un-safe for him. As I started researching what baby-wearing options are out there I started to realize just what I had missed when my baby was little. There are so many baby carriers out there that are actually comfortable for the baby-wearer and comfortable/safe for the baby.

I have since been able to try out many other different kinds of baby carriers. Everything from soft structured carriers like the BOBA and the ERGO, to slings, and wraps. After trying all of the different carriers my absolute favorite type of carrier is the soft structured carriers. I love the convenience and easy of the soft structured compared to the wraps. You can have them on in less than 30 seconds and ready to do your shopping, cleaning, or go on a walk.

Colors/Look:
I was so excited when I heard from BECO about reviewing their becoGemini carrier in Lucas print.  The Lucas carrier  has a combination of turquoise, green, orange and brown in a symmetrical pattern on a light sandy background. It also has espresso colored padded straps that make for a nice comfy carry. I have wanted to try out one of the BECO carriers for the longest time! Since receiving the carrier my experience with it has been nothing but good! The first thing that I noticed about it when I took it out of the box was how versatile the colors are.  It can be worn with so many different colors and prints and will easily work for a boy or girl.
The Gemini comes in 9 different wonderful colors and prints. There are some that are great for little girls, some that are great for little boys, and also some that will work for either. Go HERE to see all of the different prints that the becoGemini comes in.

Adjustability:
The Gemini is a 4-in-1 carrier that can be used from newborn to toddler (7-35 lbs). 4-in-1 carriers are very versatile and can be used in back carry, front carry (facing out or in), and hip carry. All positions are very comfortable and easy to do. I know that some people are very against forward facing carrying so if you happen to be one of those people you have three other ways to carry your little one with this carrier.
It has very highly tested snaps that are made for a safe and secure ride. The thing that I love about the Beco's snaps is that they are safety snaps so they can't be undone by little exploring fingers. You have to have two hands to undo them so they are much safer and a lot less likely to come undone accidentally.

The waist belt is made to fit a wide range of sizes. It will adjust anywhere from a size 0 (28 inches) all of the way up to 57 inches. You can easily use this carrier for Dad, Mom, Grandparents, and Baby-Sitters and just have to adjust the shoulder and waist straps for a perfect fit for almost anyone.
Comfort/Ease of use:
Unlike some of the cheaper baby carriers the Beco has the proper leg support that your little one needs in a carrier and takes pressure off of your babies spine, hips, and legs while they are being carried. It is very comfortable for your little one and also for the one wearing the baby.  Not having to tie or wrap a baby carrier is so nice with having a three year old to keep up with along with a baby! Baby D is very fidgety and always wants to be moving and looking around. He loves riding in the baby carrier but is such a wiggler.  I was doing the dishes this evening with him strapped on my back and he was trying to arch his back so that he could look at his brother behind him. He was trying....oh how he was trying to flip himself out of the carrier but he couldnt since he was nice and secure and had absolutely no way of falling out.

Materials:
The Gemini is machine washable and 100% made in the USA.  The shell of the carrier is made out of 100% organic cotton and the inner fill of the carrier is made out of 100% polyester. The fabric of the carrier is so soft and comfortable and is very gentle on my little mans skin.

  17. I am a huge Beco fan and so is hubby. I love the Apple print and the Carnival print as well as Aiden print. I love that the Gemini allows a hip carry. I also find the crisscross straps to be easy in that there is less adjusting when sharing between two different sized people. I would like to enter the contest but don't feel comfortable leaving my email address for everyone to see. Thank you.
