It works from preemie/newborn to one year old, is machine washable, and has many different holds. I have a Mobi wrap that I had used after my son was born. I liked it well enough, but after I used the Sleepy Wrap I realized one thing that was very wrong with the Mobi, it isn't strechy. I had to put the Mobi wrap on where it was too loose, put my little man in, and then tighten it again! It is SO much easier to get your baby in when there's stretchy fabric because you can have everything as tight as it needs to be, but still be able to get your little one inside.

Tying the wrap may take a couple of practices. Yet with a little experience you will find the right fit for you and your baby. It will become as easy and common place as tying your shoelaces. Stick with it, it's definitely worth it!
I am a big proponent of holding your baby as much as possible, especially in the first few months, instead of leaving them in car seats, bouncers, swings, etc. They still need to feel like they are a part of you to make a smooth and pleasant transition to the world outside the womb. Feeling the warmth, smell, movement and hearing the heartbeat and voice of their mommies is very important for babies to feel secure in their new and overwhelming world. It makes sense that when babies are held more in a secure fashion, such as in this Sleepy Wrap, they will cry less and sleep better, feel more secure and more involved, and thus be able to learn and explore because they know you are still right there to care for them. 

My sister-in-law helped me review this baby wrap with her 3 month old also, so here is what she had to say.
I have tried a few other types of baby carriers and really like this one a lot! It comes with a roomy pouch to carry it in for travel, a good instruction booklet, and a little pamphlet with info about the benefits of baby-wearing. It was a little overwhelming at first with this huge, long piece of fabric, but the instruction book is very user-friendly with good pictures (that help you feel like you don't have to be a model mommy to wear it) to help you figure out the basic holds and tying method. I found that having someone to help me at first was nice, and using a full-length mirror helped when on my own. I was surprised how quickly I learned to tie it like a pro! That is the only "con" I can say, is that it takes a little more effort up front to learn how to use it, or to get it ready than, say, a sling, but the benefits far outweigh the short learning curve. So if you are frustrated at first, don't give up! It only takes a few tries and then you've got it down, and it is worth it!
The other nice thing about the wrap is that it only has one tying method to learn, and only three different holds that are very easy to learn. The material is so soft and comfortable, and my baby does not even mind having her face held underneath the fabric. Unlike the slings I have used, the baby's weight is distributed so it is very comfy for both and the wrap stays put (I always had a problem with slings falling off my shoulder with the weight to the baby's head.)
