***Soda Stream Fountain Jet Starter Kit review and GIVEAWAY***

 I was so thrilled to recently be able to try out the Soda Stream Fountain Jet Starter Kit in Silver/black.  We don't drink soda a ton, but I do love a good soda every now and then. In my house we have a small predicament when it comes to soda. When we first got married I got in trouble for dumping out a bottle of EXTREMELY flat soda. I was so confused because I have always thought that flat soda wasn't terribly tasty.......but what did I know I guess. My husband is a lover of flat soda. He will actually shake up a bottle of soda so that it is flat for him to drink.

The soda stream machine works wonders because he can make his almost flat soda by just carbonating it for a few seconds and I can make my NORMAL soda with plenty of bubbles! The soda stream machine is VERY easy to use.

SodaStream soda makers are fashionable, fun, sleek and easy to use! SodaStream offers a wide variety of styles and colors to match any kitchen decor. All SodaStream models allow you to prepare great-tasting, fresh, fizzy beverages precisely to your taste - with no bottles, cans, electricity...and no clean-up. 

Step 1:

To start , fill the Carbonating Bottles with water up to the fill line. You can chill the water first so that it is cold or you can just put ice in after it is made. After the bottle is full of water screw the bottle into the Fountain Jet maker to add the carbonation. The carbonation is added with the press of the button. If you are like my husband that likes almost flat soda you can just press the button down for a few seconds. You can adjust the amount of carbonation to your preference by pressing the button more times or less. I normally press down the button until it buzzes once and it is just perfect for me. The machine will buzz to let you know you have added the carbonation. 

 

Step 2:

Once you have the water carbonated to your liking remove the bottle and add the soda flavor of your choice. Soda stream was amazing and sent us 10 different flavors to try. It was hard to choose which one to try first, but I finally decided on the Orange Mango. All that you have to do it dump a cap full of syrup into the bottle to flavor your soda. Screw on the lid and GENTLY mix the flavoring into the water. It is delicious and so convenient. SodaMix flavors are all available in economy sized bottles. Each bottle makes 12 liters (about 33 cans) of soda. 

Step 3:

Pour and ENJOY!!!

Sodastream has fruit flavors like lemonade cranberry-raspberry, orange, lemon lime and more. If you like Coca Cola or Dr.Pepper type soda  you can choose from  regular, diet or caffeine free. Also if you like sparking fruit flavored waters - MyWater Unsweetened, all-natural flavor essences for making lightly flavored seltzer or sparkling water. Adjust the intensity of the flavor by adding more or less flavoring. Each 40 ml bottle of flavoring will make approx. 20 liters of flavored seltzer water.
