Organic Boba G2 Baby Carrier

When Monkey was first born I didn't have a clue about what baby wearing options were out there. We had bought a Snuggli baby carrier that turned out to be extremely uncomfortable for me and Monkey just folded up into a ball in the bottom which was very un-safe for him. As I started researching what baby-wearing options are out there I started to realize just what I had missed when my baby was little. There are so many baby carriers out there that are actually comfortable for the wearer and comfortable/safe for the baby.

When I was introduced to the Organic Boba G2 baby carrier it was love at first sight. The Boba has great leg support and is about 10,000,000 times better than the crotch dangler baby carrier that we started out baby-wearing in. It has the proper leg support and takes pressure off of your babies spine, hips, and legs. The Boba has highly tested snaps for a safe and secure ride. Not having to tie or wrap a baby carrier is very nice! With a fidgety two year old it is nice to just be able to strap it on and have him secure within a few seconds. I am even easily able to get Monkey strapped into the carrier on my back without any help from someone else. (It took me a little bit to figure out how to put it on but we got it figured out.)

The Boba hold's toddlers from 15-45 pounds.
Its machine washable.
Made from organic cotton.
Contains foot straps for extra hip support.
And it can be worn in the front or back.
Retails for $118

The Company: From my experience, NAP/Boba is an amazing company to work with. They are always professional, quick to respond, and willing to work with you. They also have very fast shipping with a well packaged product that doesn't get damaged during shipping. They go above and beyond to make their customers happy and are always willing to help.

Comfort: My favorite part of the Boba is the foot straps. I have never seen a baby carrier that has foot straps to keep your little ones legs/hips at the proper angle. The foot straps are attached to the waist strap and are completely removable if they aren't needed. They are adjustable in length and also adjust to your child's foot size.

The straps are my second favorite thing about the Boba. They are nice and padded and extremely comfortable for the wearer. The Boba is so comfortable that I could wear it for hours and still be comfortable. The shoulder straps distribute the weight so well that I can hardly tell that he is on my back. The waist belt is also nice and wide so it doesn't cut into your belly. It is made to accommodate children that are 15-45 lbs so it NEEDS to be comfortable. I cant wait to try it when our baby is born and gets big enough to be worn in it. At this point in time my belly is too big to be able to try it out with the front carry so ill have to give it a try in a few months.

Materials: The Organic Boba G2 is made out of 100% GOTS and OE100 certified organic cotton and has a 100% organic Texas cotton lining. The material is extremely soft and very gently on your babies skin. We haven't had any trouble at all with Monkey getting red marks on his skin or the carrier rubbing his skin raw. He is so comfy in the carrier that he has almost fallen asleep a few times.

Adjustability: The Boba Organic Baby Carrier accommodates children between ages 1 and 4 (15-45 lbs.) It has extremely adjustable straps to make it easy to switch from one person to another. My husband and I can switch who is carrying Monkey within a minute or two. From taking him off one person, strapping him on the other, and adjusting the straps for the perfect fit.

I am almost 30 weeks pregnant and it fits me perfectly (with the back carry). The waist band is so adjustable that I will be able to wear it until I give birth to our second little man. It is so nice to be able to "carry" Monkey without actually having to "carry" him. I can strap him onto my back and it is like his weight isn't even there. With a baby belly on the front and a two year old on my back I can be more comfortable that I ever imagined and actually go shopping without having to run after a two year old.

Colors/Look: The Boba G2 is available in six different colors. Go HERE to see their color options. We recieved the Organic Boba-Aspen for review and absolutely love the colors. All of their baby carriers are very "male friendly." I know for a fact that my hubby won't be willing to wear some crazy girly baby carrier, so it is nice to have a bunch of different options for guys to choose from that they would be willing to wear out and about.

The Boba has a very sleek look to it. It has no extra added buttons, zippers, pockets, or snaps for added weight and bulk. It is just a baby carrier pure and simple.

Boba is a Soft Structured baby carrier (SSC) that is intended for toddlers 15 pounds and up. Boba has a few extra inches of height to keep your center of gravity closer to your body and support your little one's back. The innovative thing about the Boba carrier is that there are foot straps attached to the waist belt for the child’s feet to sit in enabling a healthy sitting position for the child. The footstraps not only give little tired legs a rest, but support the legs in a flexed abducted (froglike) position which naturally tilts the pelvis, fills out the hip sockets, and aligns the spine.

  3. I think it is too hard to choose between this and the Ergo. you just need both! Then Daddy can carry the bigger kid in the Boba, and Mama can carry the newborn in the Ergo with newborn insert! Can you tell I have been thinking this out! :) I love these carriers!
