For those of you that have trouble understanding a two year old (who doesn't?). Here's the translation of some of the super cute things that my Monkey Man says.
Appoduicey = Apple Juice
Mo Nudl = More Noodles
Mulk = Milk
Noise = Toys
Noicee = Noisey
Papa Doi = "Whats papa doing??"
Keke = Cookie
Mo Cho Train = "Can I watch Thomas the Train?"
Wallo = Water
Wawa = Vitamin
Apo = Apple (which could be anything red and round)
Dipo = Diaper
And I saved the best for last.......
Mo Fibo = More Fiber .....Monkey has always had trouble with his poops so he gets a fiber gummy every day along with his vitamin. Just imagine a 2 year old looking up at you with his little puppy dog eyes asking for more fiber. It is just about the cutest thing ever!
When in doubt just nod and smile, they will move onto the next thing and forget that you hadn't a clue what they were saying
So do your kiddos have any they say that is super cute?? Or words that they pronounce "just a little wrong?" What are they??

ReplyDeleteMuk= Milk
Ucky= He either pooped or his brother did
BerBer = Diaper
ReplyDeleteAcer = Pacifier (he still is weaning from this - boo hiss)

He just keeps them coming. He is saying a new word clearer almost every day. But it is so stinking cute when it is just slightly off of what it should be. T's can be interesting. Sometimes they are turned in to D's which makes it fun to translate him to other people. lol
This post made me howl! We definatley have toddler speak in our house and while I can understand most of what he says it can be a challenge to others sometimes. Some of my fav's:
ReplyDeleteTar Ide: Car ride
Tat Move: Cat Movie (Garfield)
Aajoooce: Apple Juice
So cute!
