 OUR REVIEW:

EcoMom was wonderful enough to send Monkey the Green Toys Recycle Truck for us to review. 

Like all of the other Green Toys they are made of a hard plastic that is 100% recycled.  Green Toys products are very safe since they are made of recycled plastic milk jugs.  So those jugs that you stuck into the recycling bin this morning might just one day turn into the cutest little toys!  Safe toys are very important since they are going to be played with, chewed on, and slept with by small children.  (Yes Monkey likes to sleep with his truck) The plastic that all of the toys are made from is colored when it is made so you don't have to worry about lead in paint on the outside of your toys or any sort of other harmful chemicals.

 Monkey just LOVES anything that remotely resembles a truck. Dump trucks, cement trucks, trash trucks, semis...he loves them all.  He has a little stash of his favorite trucks and his recycling truck is now included in that stash. He just LOVES his recycling truck....well he calls it a trash truck because to a 2 year old they look very similar. He has always loved watching the trash truck come through the neighborhood and picking up all of the trash so he knew exactly what it was when we opened it. 

 His favorite part about this truck is that the back of it lifts up and dumps everything inside out. He will find any and every little hot wheels car that is laying around the house and try to fit them in the back and then dump them out.  The side of the truck also has separate slots for paper, plastic, and metal. Not that you could actually fit anything much through the little holes, but it gives it character. Although, Monkey does love sticking cereal through the holes and then dumping it out the back.
