When I gave birth to Monkey I just went out to Motherhood Maternity and bought myself a nursing bra. It fit alright but it wasn't terribly comfortable, was pretty blah looking, and it just didn't function well as a nursing bra. I am smaller up top so it is really hard for me to find good fitting, good quality bras.....none the less nursing bras. My Experience with Bella Materna

I was so excited when I was offered a chance to review the Sexy T-Shirt Bra from Bella Materna. As I already said, I have never had much luck with nursing/regular bras fitting right. I guess that it could be that I am just cheep and don't spend tons of money trying to find the "perfect bra." 

I have NEVER ordered a bra from online, so I was a little worried about how it would fit not being able to try it on. I ordered the bra in 36B which would normally be a little bit too big in the cup for me, but I wanted it to be a little big since the ladies will grow when I start nursing. I was so excited when I received the bra in the mail and it actually fit PERFECT! I am IN LOVE with this bra! It actually feels like it was custom made to fit me! I have never before had that in a bra. If fits so perfect and is amazingly comfortable. It is lightly padded so you don't have to worry about nipping or having your nursing pads show through your clothes.

One other major thing that I noticed is that my bra straps don't slide off of my shoulders with this bra. Every single bra that I have previously owned has had issues with the straps staying up........but there is something amazingly wonderful about this bra that they actually stay up on my shoulders.

I so wish that I had known all of the different options that were out there for nursing bras when I had Monkey. I was only able to nurse him for a few months because my milk dried up, so I didn't have a ton of time to do research on all of the options that are out there.  If you are at all in need of maternity/nursing bras make sure that you head over to Bella Materna and check them out!
