Carmen from Eden Home was wonderful enough to send us their Organic Receiving Blanket by Kate Quinn -(Midnight Vanilla Stripe.) I was so excited to try this blanket out as soon as Baby D. was born. It is so soft and comfy and nice and breathable so that he doesn't get overheated. I have had a lot of trouble with other cheaper blankets because the fabric isnt breathable and he gets overheated so fast. We havn't had any trouble at all with this blanket.......in fact it is the first one that I grab when it is clean because it is so breathable yet nice and warm, soft and comfy, and very cute and stylish.
I think that I have an addiction to cute baby blankets! They are so soft and squishy and wonderfully comfy and keep my tiny little man so nice and warm. This blanket was the very first blanket that was wrapped around my tiny little man after he was born. Another thing that I love about this blanket is that it is extra big! It measures 32in x 40in and is plenty big enough to use as a receiving blanket or to swaddle in. It also works well as a car seat blanket and is big enough to keep your baby warm while at the same time keep them covered and away from peoples nosy little fingers.
The workmanship of the blanket is wonderful and very high quality. All of the stitching is top quality and the fabric is the best of the best. It will definitely withstand many many washings and the wear and tear that comes from being used with a baby.
