With the weather getting cold outside and the ice and snow coming my wood floors get SOOOO dirty so fast! If I actually wanted to keep my floors spotless I would have to clean them daily.....sometimes more than one time. But yea, that just doesn't happen. I was so excited when I heard from Plow & Hearth about doing a review/giveaway for them.  I had such a hard time deciding what I wanted to review because of the great variety of products that they carry. I finally decided on the Monogrammed Coir Rubber Doormat and Insert.

This outdoor monogrammed mat is made of hard-working, absorbent, natural coconut-husk fibers that scrape-clean the bottoms of shoes and boots, and help prevent mud, water and other debris into your house.

The first thing that I want to say about the rug is that it is SOOOO pretty! With the scrolling on the rubber mat and the insert it looks so elegant and inviting.  The rubber base is made out of thick rubber that will hold up well to the harsh weather. Even though the rug is made out of rubber it doesn't look cheap like some other rubber rugs do.  The rubber is very high quality and will hold up well in any weather. The rubber rug measures 36"L x 24"W and the insert is 28"L x 16"W which is the perfect size for our front door. It goes perfectly from one side of our door to the other.....not too big not too small. Just perfect!

The awesome thing about this door mat is that you can choose what you want the insert to have on it. You arent stuck with one or two options like you have in your every day store. They have everything from "welcome" mat inserts to ones with letters on them for your last name. For my review I decided on an insert with the first letter of our last name in it.

The insert is made out of coconut fibers that are made to easily scrape clean the bottom of your shoes. It works very well and doesn't break down with use.  Before we had a cheapo rug that we got from WalMart at our front door.  It didn't really clean your feet off well and was boring solid black.  This rug is beautiful, holds up great, and looks great on our front porch!
