Sometimes when I am out and it happens to be coming up on naptime or we are stuck somewhere and Monkey gets bored I wish that I had something for him to do that would keep him entertained for a while. Something to keep him occupied at the doctors office or while we are stuck getting the car fixed. We recently had the opportunity to review a website called Lunchbox Reviews which provides recommendations for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch apps that are child-friendly and age-appropriate. Having something like this would be a lifesaver! I know for a fact that if I had any of these I would definitely put apps on there for Monkey. Its great knowing a place that I can find out which apps are good and which ones aren't.

LunchBoxReviews has apps for children that are ages 2-7+ and offers many different search options that help to refine your searches to apps that will be most relevant to you. You can sort apps by child's age, device and category. They even have an area that will tell you which apps are good for special needs children and somewhere that moms and dads can personally recommend an app to the list. All of the apps are separated out into age ranges so that you know which ones are good for your child's specific age range. The apps that I looked through were anywhere from .99 cents-$2.99 to buy so knowing which ones are good will save a lot of money in the long run. I do have to say that if I was in desperate need of entertainment for my toddler .99 cents would TOTALLY be worth it if i knew that it was a good app! 

Each app has star rating system and many have user reviews (along with critic reviews) which is very helpful to know which ones are good and which ones people don't like. Some of the reviews were even written by the founder of the website when she has the time to test them out.  However, due to time restraints (we all know that it is busy being a mom!) and so that you can have opinions from many sources, LunchBox Reviews also uses reviews from other sites from around the web that the founder trusts.

From my experience Lunchbox Reviews is very easy to navigate around and well layed out. They provide a wide variety of information that is very easy to sort through and find just what you are wanting. They make it very easy to find just what you're looking for without wasting your time or money.
