***BABY BLESSINGS-Rumparooz Lil' Joey Review & GIVEAWAY-Diaper Junction***

Cloth diapering a newborn is much more interesting than I thought. Finding an AIO/Pocket that actually fits a newborns skinny little legs without actually buying every single kind of diaper is a challenge. Both of my babies have been skinny little dudes when they were born so they have stayed in newborn sized diapers for a month and a half each. The only kind of AIO/Pocket diaper that I found that actually fits a newborn right our of the womb is Rumparooz and Rumparooz Lil' Joey's. And let me tell you.......the Lil' Joeys are SOOO tiny and cute!

Rise:

The rise on these is just perfect for my little man. Not so high that he looks like Steve Urkle in his diaper but not so low that he has a plumbers crack. 

Sizing:

Baby D is almost 2 months old (and can still fit in some of his newborn clothes) and just outgrew his Lil' Joeys. I wanted to see how long they would fit him before I posted the review and for us they lasted quite a while (it honestly depends on your babies build though. If you have a chunky baby out of utero they might only fit a week or two).  While many styles of all-in-one cloth diapers are too large to fit a baby at birth, the two rows of snap on these diapers will make for a diaper that fits from Preemie up to 12+ lbs! Since they are made for tiny babies they are also not bulky at all! Some of his other diapers make it to where he can't wear certain clothes, but the Lil' Joey's are so nice and slim that he can wear any of his clothes.

Snaps or Velcro:  

These diapers only come with snaps. Since they are a newborn diaper they also have a snap down part that will make it so the diaper doesn't rub their umbilical cord before it falls off. I love the snap down part because all of his other diapers would rub on his cord and it looked so uncomfortable. I didn't see these diapers rubbing at all!

Colors:
Lil' Joey's come in a rainbow of adorable colors and prints. They have the perfect ones for boy's and girl's and many that will work unisex if you don't know what you are having. (I hope that some day they come out with one in their new Robotronic print. It is SOOO cute!)

Price: 

Lil' Joey's come in packs of two and will cost you $29.95 (for two).If you are looking for a diaper that will last a long time this one probably isn't worth the money because it is specifically a newborn diaper. But if you are looking for newborn diapers they are great. The price is still a little steep but they are very high quality and fit awesome!

Features:

These diapers have a very absorbent 4-layer soaker that is sewn into the diaper....so theres no stuffing or folding that has to happen here! They also have the AWESOME double gussets like the G2 Rumparooz diapers. They contain even the messiest of newborn poop's, and I do have to say that every newborn poo is......lets just say.....MESSY! We havn't had one leak with the diaper (besides when I put it on him a few days ago and found out that he has outgrown them.)

The fabric on the inside of the diaper is SUPER soft and comfortable for my little man as well as hypo-allergenic! It also has a snap-down front that is made to protect baby's sensitive umbilical cord area, it helps reduce irritation and risk of getting pulled on while it heals.
