ABOUT THE COMPANY:

At Expressiva Nursingwear their goal is to design fashionable clothing for breastfeeding mothers. They want to make our experience as nursing mothers more enjoyable and more stylish.......since we all know that most "nursing" items that are carried in the bog box stores are very BLAH.  They want us to feel confident and comfortable breastfeeding for as long as you and your nursling desire. 

Expressiva carries everything for the nursing mother from tops, to dresses, bras, sleepwear, gifts, and much more. They have a great selection of items in what they offer and from my experience their products are high quality.

OUR REVIEW: 

Expressiva was generous enough to send me their Floral Drop-Cup Nightgown for review.

When I was trying to decide what I wanted to review from Expressiva I was looking for something that was comfortable, easy to nurse in, and still looked pretty. When Monkey was tiny and I was still nursing him (which I didn't get to for very long) I basically wore an oversized t-shirt to bed and just pulled it up when he needed to nurse. This time around I really want to have some options for quick-easy nursing that I can wear around the house and also wear at the hospital after he is born. I want to make it as easy as possible to get nursing down so that we can hopefully do it for a much longer time frame than last time. The floral drop cup nightgown functions like a nursing bra where it unsnaps and folds down for quick-easy nursing. It can easily be opened with one hand so that you can get it open with baby in the other hand.

The thing that I was so excited about when I received the nightgown is that it actually fits me perfect right now at almost 35 weeks pregnant! The fabric is strechy and oh so soft and goes right around my bulging belly for the perfect fit. It is a great nightgown for prenant AND nursing mothers! I have no worries that it will also fit me perfect after our little man is born.

This gown is machine washable and you can dry it too. It has held up great with washing and doesn't shrink which a lot of cotton products do.  I have washed and dried it several times and it still fits like it did when I received it.  It is made from 95% cotton/5% spandex so it still have the amazing softness of cotton while having just the perfect stretch to be amazingly comfortable.  The only "problem" that I have had with it is that the ribbon in the front of the gown frayed a little......but that is not a big deal to me.

The floral print and lace trim will make you look and feel absolutely beautiful. Treat yourself to the easy drop-cup nursing that allows you to stay covered through all those nighttime feedings. Trimmed in elasticized lace for stay-put confidence and added style. Adjustable straps allow you to customize the fit.
