ABOUT THE COMPANY:

My Brest Friend was developed in a laboratory of new moms, babies, and breastfeeding experts who set out to do what no one had done before: create a pillow whose sole purpose was to answer all the needs of breastfeeding moms and babies. Spearheading the effort was inventor Andrew Zenoff, a bachelor who proved that sometimes the best ideas come from those who have just enough distance from a problem to imagine solutions that have never been considered before.  The first thing that they did was compile a list of every complaint breastfeeding moms could think of with their existing pillows. The list ranged from lower back pain due to improper support, poor latch-on, to babies “rolling” inward or away during the feeding due to using U-shaped pillows. This began a lengthy cycle which took a year where they designed and re-designed their pillow 50 times. They poked, prodded, raised, lowered, tightened, loosened, shifted and adorned until, at last, they had a pillow that their mom testers loved so much, they couldn’t find a single way to improve upon it.

OUR REVIEW:

MyBrestFriend was AMAZING enough to send me a variety of their items to review! They sent me their Warm Dots nursing pillow, a nursing cover in their new Fireworks pattern, an adjustable nursing stool, travel pillow in Green Paisley Print, and one bottle of each of their Vitamins (Breastfeeding Essentials Vitamin, Fenugreek, and Omega- 3 Lemon Fish Oil.) 

With all of the trouble that I had breastfeeding Monkey I am up for anything that will help us succeed this time. Breastfeeding is a beautiful part of motherhood that will be cherished for the rest of your life. It is a time where you can bond with your baby while giving them the life sustaining nourishment that they need.  MyBrestFriend offers so many amazing products and I am very excited to share some of them with all of you.

Nursing Pillow:

A nursing pillow is a MUST HAVE for all nursing moms. It offers great support for Mom so that you don't always have to be holding all of your babies weight. It also offers a comfortable place for your baby to lay while eating and helps keep them from rolling from side to side. This pillow is my favorite of the ones that I have tried out so far. Unlike the other nursing pillows on the market that just wrap around your front with a U shape, this one wraps all of the way around your body and snaps in place.  It has lumbar support in the back to help make Mom the most comfortable she can be.  It also has a very convenient pocket on the front of the pillow to keep a burp cloth, breast shield, toys, or anything else that you need. The cover zips off easily and can be washed when it gets dirty.....which we all know it will (only hang-dry to prevent shrinking.)

Nursing Cover:

I have never been one to feel comfortable nursing out in public. With Monkey I bought a cheap nursing cover from Target....what a mistake that was! It didn't have any sort of support around the top so I couldn't see him and it was way too short to actually cover. It didn't help me feel any more comfortable nursing out in public.  I love MyBrestFriends nursing cover because it is supported around the top, has an adjustable strap around the neck, and it is nice and long so that I can be fully covered.  It makes it so that I don't need to hide out in some corner to feed my little man. I can feel comfortable even in the most public of places.

  Adjustable Nursing Stool: 

The adjustable nursing stool it made to where you can put your feet up while nursing to alleviate neck, back, and leg pain. It is adjustable to all different angles so that you can adjust it depending on where you are sitting.  If your feet tend to fall asleep while you are sitting in certain chairs this will be the perfect thing for you! Put your feet up, relax, and enjoy the time with your little one.

Travel Pillow:

Their travel pillow offers the same comfort and convenience of their original pillow.....but this one is for on the go. It is the same shape as the original pillow but it is inflatable, thus making it the perfect pillow to travel with.  When it is deflated it folds up very small and will easily fit into a diaper bag. Its the perfect choice for going on overnight trips or airplane rides. It takes all of the hassle out of nursing while traveling since it is just like the one you use at home.  When babies are away from their normal surroundings and off their regular routine, its comforting for them to have something familiar to make it feel like home.

Breastfeeding Essentials Vitamins:

Having the proper nutrients is ESSENTIAL for breastfeeding. MyBrestFriend offers the perfect selection to help you in all areas. They have Breastfeeding Essentials vitamins that contain 28 essential vitamins, minerals, and herbs to help breastfeeding mothers maintain overall good health. Fenugreek which is the most popular herbal remedy for increasing a nursing mothers milk supply (I will definitely be taking this one as soon as I start nursing!)
