OUR REVIEW:

Ok, so the first thing that I have to say is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mop! The mop that I was using before was a rag mop that I would have to go and get it wet something like 5-7 times each time that I mopped the floor. My old mop also left smudge marks on the floor even when cleaning with plain water. The reveal spray mop is so easy to use and gets the job done 10 times faster because I don't have to re-wet my mop all of the time! The pad on the mop stays on amazingly well and it also does a great job of getting all of those things off the floor that were dropped at dinner time and weren't seen. All of you that have kiddos know that there can be a lot of messes made by our little ones. It has some serious scrubbing power.....without having to actually scrub much.

Assembly of the mop is SUPER easy and fast. There are no tools needed and you can have it done in 30 seconds or less!  All you have to do is snap together the pole/handle and the base, attach a microfiber pad {it attaches to the mop with Velcro} to the bottom of the mop, and fill the bottle with the solution of your choice. I usually just use filtered water to clean my floors.....but I really like having the option of using whatever I want to clean. I think that next time I am going to use the cleaner that has vinegar in it.

All you have to do is mix two tablespoons of your favorite cleaning solution with water in the provided bottle and you are good to go. You can use a store bought solution if you want, but here are some great solution recipes that you can make with things that you might have around your house. After your solution is made you just place it in your refillable bottle, close the cap, and click it into the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop. There's no need to go to the store and buy cleaning solutions every time that you run out. 

Cleaning Solution 1

(This solution works well on hardwood floors.)
2 Tablespoons ammonia
½ cup white vinegar
½ teaspoon of baby shampoo
Fill the rest with hot water

Cleaning Solution 2
(This solution is perfect for glazed tiles, vinyl, soft tile, cement, brick, and laminate.)
2Tablespoons white vinegar
2-3 drops liquid soap
Fill the rest with hot water

Cleaning Solution 3 

(This solution is great for unglazed tiles, marble, stone, and slate.)
2 Tablespoons baking soda
2-3 drops liquid soap
Fill the rest with hot water

Cleaning Solution 4 

(This solution also works well on hardwood floors.)
1 Tablespoon white vinegar
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
Fill the rest with hot water

Please make sure that you follow all manufacture recommendations for your type of flooring when choosing solutions to clean your floor. Certain kinds of floorings have to be cleaned with specific things or cant be cleaned with certain substances.  To give your custom solution a clean scent, simply add a few drops of lemon juice or your favorite scented oil to the mix! Or try a combination of any of the above products to find a solution that works best for you.
