***BABY BLESSINGS-Summer Infant Review & GIVEAWAY***

As a Mom I try to make my kiddos as comfortable and safe as possible. I do my best to keep them safe and warm at night so that they can sleep well and wake up refreshed and rejuvenated.  Since I figured out that I was pregnant again I have been on the hunt for companies that carry products that will help our little one sleep as best as possible (because as we all know......I won't be getting any sleep if he doesn't get any sleep!

 OUR REVIEW: 

Allison over at Summer infant was wonderful enough to send us two products to review. We received a SwaddlePod and a SwaddleMe Blanket. I am SO sad that I didn't have one of these when Monkey was little. He LOVED being swaddled so much, but our problem was that we were just using the plain rectangle swaddle blankets to swaddle him and they always came undone. I had seen these in the store, but I just never had the chance to get one and try it out. 

I am SO excited to try the SwaddlePod out with our new little man! The SwaddlePod is ideal for very young infants in that it creates a cozy womb like environment for your baby and helps prevent them from startling themselves awake. The soft, comfortable spandex cotton blend stretches with baby's movements for comfort. What better way to calm your baby than to give them the sensation of being back in the womb all snug and warm. It is very simple and easy to use, all you have to do is zip your baby into the pod and it won't come undone since it has a zipper. 

 The zipper is also a two-way zipper which allows for quick and easy diaper changes. This will make all of those late night changes a cinch. No more taking off your babies clothes at night just to change a diaper! Just unzip it from the bottom and zip it back up when their diaper is all changed. 

Overall the SwaddlePod is very well sewn and the seams are super tight and secure. I can already tell that we will get a lot of use out of this swaddle pod. I can’t wait to see my little man in it this winter!

Whoever thought of inventing a swaddle blanket that had velcro closures and a hole for using in a car seat was brilliant! It is inevitable that with a plain blanket your baby is eventually going to come un-swaddled. Another wonderful thing about this blanket is that it is snug around the arm area, but still has room to move for their legs to move. So your baby can still wiggle and squirm, but will still be snug and cozy.

The design of the SwaddleMe Blanket is simple. It is made out of one long piece of fabric with a built-in pouch for the feet and two flaps to hold the arms in tight. It is simple and easy to use, even for the newest of parents.  For new moms, expecting moms, or moms of colicky or sleepless infants I have only this advice: Go buy a SwaddleMe Blanket....or two or three! After receiving these for review I went out and bought two more SwaddleMe blankets so that I always have one to use on hand. It never fails that your baby will spit up all over it, so its always good to have a back-up or two. I know that I will be happy that I have a few on hand so that I can go back to sleep without having to run the washing machine at 3am.
